Here’s a look at last year’s event:

Five reasons to attend, according to the BIOMEDevice Boston staff, include:

1. A look at 3D printing, functional prototyping and new materials that are getting heavy industry buzz.

2. Information about security concerns of wireless devices, regulatory news and updating legacy devices.

3. Introduction of new robotic technologies and manufacturing modernization.

4. Sessions on new sensor technology and power management.

5. Affordable technical training.

Manufacturing equipment, cleanroom and sterilization, contract manufacturing, design services, electronic components, medical grade materials, packaging and labeling, and 3D printing are expected to be hot topics at the BIOMEDevice Boston event.

Speed networking and learning labs are also expected to be popular draws at the conference.
