UL Listed Compounds

Apple Rubber listed its first UL compound back in July of 1986. After 27 years, we have increased our offering to 16 compounds with various end-use listing and polymer types. Now, Apple Rubber has a strong partnership with Underwriters Laboratories® (UL), and we work to provide safe products to our customers through UL testing, certification and follow-up audits.

Through this partnership, we submit our compounds directly to UL for rigorous testing based on the standards for requested working environment. These compounds are tested annually by UL Follow-Up Services, so customers can feel confident that quality is maintained.

JMLU2 is the category for Gasket and Seals Components. UL 157 is the Standard For Gaskets and Seals which covers test procedures and performance criteria.
