The survey measured the ad’s communication effectiveness in three goals:
1. Awareness: Making customers aware of a company, new product, or technology
2. Ideas: Providing ideas for doing a better job or helping to solve a design problem
3. Motivation: Motivating action by requesting a demo, asking to see a sales rep, and specifying/purchasing the advertised product
