RoHS Compliance

Restriction of Hazardous Substances

As a manufacturer of sealing components for various industries, Apple Rubber Products must comply with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) European environmental directive that will impact all Apple Rubber's customers who supply to the European Union member countries.

After review, Apple Rubber Products declares that to the best of our knowledge none of the following substances are used or intentionally added in the manufacturing of our parts: PBB's, PPBE's, PBD's or PBDE's Brominated Dioxins, Brominated Furans, PVC, Chlorinated Parafins, Antimony Compounds, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, Lead, Mercury and their compounds.

Therefore Apple Rubber Products is confident that the levels of restricted materials are below the limits established by WEEE/Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (2012/19/EU) and RoHS2/Directive on the Restriction of use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment (2011/65/EU) and are in compliance too. In addition to, no PFOS per EU Directive 2006/122/EC and decaBDE are used in any of our products. No exemptions were used in order to become EU-RoHS Compliant.

The ingredient information is based on our vendor's disclosure information and may not include all proprietary, trade secret, or contamination information that has not been provided to Apple Rubber Products, Inc. Apple Rubber Products has not performed any testing to determine if the products are free of the banned substances.

This statement is based on our current level of knowledge and covers all materials used in the manufacturing of the above parts. Since conditions of use are outside Apple Rubber Products' control, Apple Rubber Products makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and assume no liability in connection with any use of this information.
