Lancaster, N.Y. -- Apple Rubber Products Inc. today announced that it has received approval of its TRAC (Trace Registered Access Code) identification number certification, signifying the company's recognition as a global business committed to commercial transparency.
The TRAC approval leads to many advancements, including new customers who require a TRAC identification number that verifies Apple Rubber's status as a global business that shares information with customers and possesses real-time visibility into its supply chains. TRAC certification is a global platform that captures, assesses and shares baseline due diligence information on organizations and individuals, and then assigns a unique, universally-recognized 12-digit code. This robust and innovative tool has allowed companies, such as Apple Rubber, to have continuous monitoring and gain more reliable, long-term customers.
"TRAC gives us a global identification that allows for quick screening, and also ensures transparency needed by our customers in the supply chain," said John Tranquilli, Apple Rubber materials manager.
Apple Rubber is a global manufacturer of O-Rings and custom rubber sealing devices. The TRAC certification will further distinguish the global company from competitors while enhancing the credibility of its products and services.
The company is also ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliant, receiving its certification in 2015. The ITAR and TRAC certifications ensure compliance with the United States Departments of Directorate Defense Trade Controls, and highlight Apple Rubber's commitment to its customers and ensuring effective supply chain management.
